Tim Burton. Untitled (The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories). 1982–84. Pen and ink, marker, and colored pencil on paper, 10 x 9" (25.4 x 22.9 cm). Private collection. © 2009 Tim Burton
I am a fan of Tim Burton's work for several years now.I am very excited about the exhibition and I would give my little foot finger to go and see it.
At the premiere was present among others little Anna Wintour. There was also Zac Posen, the Olsen twins and more others .
Burton was accompanied by his love Helena Bonham Carter and long time friend Johnny Depp.
I truly loved his outfit, but the most I was impressed by these image of him and Patti Smith. She is a sassy lady.

MaisonMartinMargiela what's next?!
I was appreciating in another post the weak expression that stained me after the MMM runway show.I was not alone, because other people had the same experience. There was something in the air.
It is so that only today, after a long period of time since the annunciation of the new open list for the new successors in row at the tron of the Maison,I am stricken to learn that this thing it is really happening.
It is not a rumor as it was supposed at first. It is real.Do we need a change?Martin Margiela was the excellent leader of such a creative team. Was the time for him to be replaced?I doubtfully think so!But who knows?Maybe in front of us are better days to come. There is proof that the young ones can master very well the awakening. I am still in mourning and I cannot decide.Wait and see what happens.
"Considering that creativity is the lifeblood of fashion and every other Paris fashion house is tapping in to new talent, why would Maison Martin Margiela not try the same?Unless they believe, as many others might, that Mr. Margiela is irreplaceable(?)." Suzy Menkes

Draw the line
GeorgeG is the one that publishes images of his free time sketching on:
http://draw365.blogspot.com/.
I used to follow him weekly but somehow I didn't had time to do it anymore. The other day,one friend showed me his blog and reminded me about him.I browsed a bit and got over this image. The movement of the drawing is quite overwhelming and the lines despite their sinuous movement are very powerful.Enjoy!

Grotesquture
Nick Cave
Grotesque effect or glamorous experience?
Spectacular.
I've just bumped into these impressive pictures that reveal the art of Nick Cave.At first I confused him with the well known singer a.k.a father of the male model Jethro Cave.
But no,not even close. This Nick Cave is the father of some decorative pieces that must be seen in movement in order to be fully enjoyed .
Sewing,draping,beading,quilting,embroidery,sequins,twigs,sweaters,Easter grass.

Sesame,open up
What about Claudia Schiffer.
She is the muse of K.Lagerfeld and one of the last line of supermodels.
I recently found a photo that shows one of her houses. Not impressing for me.Only if......see the circled building? It was supposed to be an helicopter garage. But no,it is actually Mrs.Schiffer wardrobe.
Full of splendid treasures I bet.

I recommend
LadyGaga's BadRomance single is amazing.
Cannot wait for the final version.
It was presented at the end of the McQueen show.
The song perfectly completed the runway performance.
You can watch the show here.

Way more beautiful than the Rodarte shoes
The reptiles and the marine wildlife are embodied in the works of art a.k.a shoes from the McQueen collection.
I dare to say that they are the most spectacular of this season.
The pairs that I mostly compare with the Rodarte sisters ones seem like they are made from pieces of plucked out from a pontoon by the sea side.

After the fight we play HideAndSeek with JeanPaul
These season JeanPaulGaultier played with us a little game entitled hide and seek.See the pointy bra?Hide the pointy bra!!
Also as a nouveauté he started moving the pointy pyramids from their usual place. He succeeded making them not to look awkward but if I may say really fascinating. They are situated on the shoulders or on the hips, you can also see them in the shape of the dresses.
By taking use of the element that made madonna famous, once again the Master composed an unique collection.
He is faithful to he's origins and included in the collection the well known navy print, but this time it is shredded in an eclectic way.
The entire collection can be known as :Doggy-Dog-meets-business-matrone-and-they-go-out-sailing-on-a-cruise-yacht-ending-on-land-surrounded-by-African-native-warriors-bearing-the-womb-of-glory .
